Mascarpone is a fresh Italian cream cheese made by curdling milk cream. Originated in southwest Milan, around the early 17th century and often used as a main ingredient in Tiramisu and can be used instead of butter in Italian recipes. It is creamy and buttery with a sweet flavour. Made from pasteurised cow’s milk.
This is made by our very own cheesemakers in Lombardy. Yes – we are proud producers ourselves! Our cheeses are award winning and have Denominazione Di Origine Protetta (DOP) status which guarantees provenance and quality.
